HAPPY HITCHCOCK

Happy Hitchcock is a true original and was an early pioneer of the
California "country punk" sound in the late seventies. His mix of
traditional country music with humorous and provocative lyrics have always
been his hallmark. He first gained notoriety after an appearance with the
legendary Ramblin' Jack Elliott on KFAT radio. The Hitchcock classic "Stick
Texas in Your Ear" became a hit on KFAT and other progressive country
stations.

Hitchcock's appearances on the KFAT "Fat Fry" shows were always
entertaining and unpredictable. After a hiatus from the music scene, Happy
Hitchcock is back and SHOP Records has proudly released his first album,
"Nashville Nightmare." He is currently recording his second album for SHOP
Records entitled "Happy Hour." The album is scheduled for release in the
spring of next year.
